Sony Music Collaborates With Gourov-Roshin And Papon For Akhiyan

Sony Music has been at the forefront in independent music. The label have been releasing original music that has gone out to become top songs across different streaming charts. Sony Music announced its second collaboration with Gourov-Roshin along with the talented Papon on a soulful yet eclectic melody – Ankhiyan.

The track is composed by the duo Gourov-Roshin and sung by Papon. The beautifully shot video features popular Tik Tok stars- Manav and Garima.

Gourov-Roshin have given the music industry some break out hits. These include songs like Kaabil, Baaghi 2, Munna Michael and the latest one, Total Dhamaal and many more.

Talking about the song, singer Papon says,

“Akhiyan has soulful lyrics and a beautiful melancholic mood. It has been a pleasure working with Gourov – Roshin and creating independent, non-film music that will touch your heart. There are a lot of different music themes that people are accepting now but the beauty of a love song never goes away. Sony Music has given artistes a good platform to showcase this side of independent singles and I am so happy that we collaborate on a song that strikes a chord with the listeners.”

Composer Gourov said,

“It’s interesting that this song is called, Akhiyan. It looks like we are continuing our infatuation with eyes after our previous song, Tere Do Naina. There is something very sweet about Akhiyan and it is just that pure love that inspired Roshin and me to create this tune. The lyrics are beautiful and when you add Papon’s voice and a music label like Sony Music to the mix, it makes it extra special.”

Composer Roshin added,

“Akhiyan has come out of our love for the soulful music. It is a song, a melody that will resonate with the listeners and that is what we were aiming to do. We wanted to create a song that stays with the audience and I hope that people understand the soul that it has.”

The love song Ankhiyan under the Sony Music label, was launched today and have received amazing response.
