Anees Bazmee’s multi starrer Pagalpanti released today. The film stars Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Arshad Warsi, Kriti Kharbanda, Pulkit Samrat, Ileana D’Cruz, Saurabh Shukla and Urvashi Rautela. While the film was released with the warning ‘dimag mat lagana’, is trouble brewing for the makers?

Well, if your confused about why we are saying so and what reference does our headline have to it, we are are here to help. Pagalpanti is a comedy film that has an uncanny resemblance to Nirav Modi And Mehul Choksi. Not only is a character name similar to one of the fugitive businessmen, but the said character is also enveloped in similar work in the film.
Nirav Deepak Modi and his uncle Mehul Choksi are fugitive Indian businessmen. They are wanted for criminal conspiracy, criminal breach of trust, cheating and dishonesty including the delivery of property, corruption, money laundering, fraud, embezzlement and breach of contract.
According to what we hear now, both the businessmen – who are currently in London – will be watching the film soon. It is to be seen if they take any action against the filmmakers for using them is such references or no.
A promotional video of the film was released yesterday titled ‘Pagalpanti: Niraj Modi Spotted’. The entire video focusses on a man (Niraj Modi) who keeps avoiding the media with the phrase ‘No Comments’. Check it out here:
