Shahid Kapoor has impressed fans with his recent hit Kabir Singh. With this, he has also raised the expectation of fans from his next film, Jersey.
His next film, that is the remake of the South Indian film Jersey, is creating a buzz since the announcement of the film was made.
Talking about Jersey, Shahid will be seen essaying the role of a cricketer in the film.
On Thursday, Shahid took to social media and shared a small clip from his preparation session. Donning a white jersey, Shahid is seen hitting a boundary in the video. In the Hindi version of Jersey, Shahid will be seen as a senior cricketer who returns to the field in his mid-30s. He wrote, “#jersey #prep” Check out the post right here:
Commenting on this video, his brother, actor Ishaan Khatter also gave a shoutout to his brother for his perfect shot. He simply commented on his brother’s post,
“Shoooooooooooootttttttttt.”
TV actor Karan Tacker too replied to the post with a,
“Out of the park!” and actor Harshvardhan Kapoor heaped praised on Shahid commenting, “Blockbuster incoming.”

The Hindi version of Jersey is being directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, who also helmed the Telugu original. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on August 28, 2020.
