Bala is grabbing all the attention since the announcement of the film was made. The trailer, posters and songs have been receiving a great response from fans.
The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam in the lead roles.
Recently while talking to the media, Ayushmann Khurrana was quizzed about his film Bala and Ujda Chaman being centered around a similar concept. Here’s what was his reply,
“Being bald is not about self-love or its not about awareness it’s just about discovering yourself and loving yourself. We shot our film first and we announced our film first and the thing is that in the film there is just one line that is similar rest the whole story is different. I have seen the south film and our film is completely different from that and when you will see it you will realize.”
When asked what are his thoughts on both the films releasing in close proximity said,
“The film that is good will perform well and we are confident about our film. It’s is a beautiful film and is one of the best scripts that I have ever read. So that’s about it. Of course, the same idea can come out and anybody can come up with the same idea.”
Bala, produced by Jio Studios & Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films Production, is all set to hit the theatres on November 8, with select previews on November 7.
