Rajkummar Rao Talks About Working With Priyanka Chopra Jonas

Rajkummar Rao, who was last seen in Made In China, will soon be collaborating with Priyanka Chopra Jonas for the Netflix film The White Tiger.

Talking about it, Rajkummar said that he is looking forward to working with her. He also hoped that they will have a good time while shooting for it.

During a chat show, Rajkummar Rao said,

“I’m very excited. I’m super-duper thrilled, nervous also because I know it will be a different process but a process I’m pretty sure I’m gonna enjoy. Just live the part. I met PC, we’ve had a couple of reading sessions and she is a great girl. I’m going to have some New York accent and put in a bit of a New York accent.”

On adding to this he also said,

“I’m still under training. I’ll do it but, you’ll see it in the film. I’m keeping it for that. But PC is a very chilled out girl, she is a really really great actor. Like how she would come up with ideas and we would improvise and she would be completely involved. That’s a great quality I think.”

The White Tiger is an adaptation of Aravind Adiga’s Man Booker Prize-winning novel of the same name.

On the work front, Rajkummar Rao was part of the recently released Made In China co-starring Mouni Roy. The film was directed by Mikhil Musale and produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films. His upcoming films include Hansal Mehta’s Turram Khan and Hardik Mehta’s RoohiAfza.

On the other hand, Priyanka Chopra last appeared in Shonali Bose’s The Sky Is Pink. She will soon feature in a film co-starring Mindy Kaling. This film will be shot in India and America. PeeCee’s Purple Pebble Pictures and Mindy’s Kaling International will produce the film.
