Taapsee Pannu has lately impressed her fans with her performance in the film Mission Mangal. She has many films in her kitty and is gearing up for the release of Saandh Ki Aankh. After this, she will surprise fans with Anubhav Sinha’s Thappad.
Taapsee recently wrapped up the shooting of this film and announced it on Twitter. She wrote,
“Final Pack up on #Thappad 31 days flew faster than strom but left the same impact. While most of the time I’m thanking my starts to get a chance to work with such a director in this case i got lucky twice.”

Just after her post, director Anubhav Sinha retweeted and wrote,
“That’s a MOVIE WRAP” #Thappad”
This film marked Taapsee’s second collaboration with Anubhav after their critically acclaimed 2018 release Mulk.
Thappad is a social- political drama inspired by a true-life incident. It is a female-oriented subject that questions society. Taapsee will play the protagonist where she will be a middle-class girl.
The film also stars Dia Mirza, Ratna Pathak Shah, Manav Kaul, Tanvi Azmi and Ram Kapoor in key roles. It is all set to release on Women’s Day.
On the work front, Taapsee will feature in Saand Ki Aankh co-starring Bhumi Pednekar, Prakash Jha and Vineet Kumar Singh. She will also star in Tadka also featuring Nana Patekar, Shriya Saran and Ali Fazal.
