Here’s How Akshay Kumar Appreciated His Housefull 4 Co-Stars For Being Punctual

Akshay Kumar is a busy actor who has multiple releases every year – and 2019 is no different. After Kesari and Mission Mangal, Akshay is all set to star in Housefull 4. This is the fourth installment in the multi-starrer Housefull franchise.

In order to complete multiple projects in a year, the actor is very punctual and manages his time effectively. And it seems he knows how to make others use their time effectively as well.

We hear that the makers of the film had planned to complete the shoot for 90 days, but because of Akshay, they managed to wrap it up in 65 days. Akki would start his shift early, and his co-stars too co-operated. As a result, the shoot would start and finish on time.

Says a source,

“All the actors knew that working with Akshay meant there would be early morning shifts and they were mentally prepared. Also, he used to get surprise gifts and delicious food for those who all came on time. He would casually ask the co-stars about their favourite goodies and dishes, and the next day, bring them as a surprise. It was his way of making sure that his habit of starting morning shifts did not become a punishment for them.”

Director Farhad Samji adds,

“Usually a film like Housefull 4, which is shot on such a huge scale, tends to take longer to complete compared to other movies. But, thanks to Akshay’s swift and punctual nature, it helped us wrap the movie in just 65 days, which is truly commendable. He, along with Bobby (Deol), Riteish (Deshmukh) and the girls (Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde, Kriti Kharbanda) made the shoot effortless.”

Housefull 4 is presented and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala‘s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and co-produced by Fox Star Studios. This Farhad Samji directorial will release on Diwali 2019. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde, Kriti Kharbanda and Chunky Panday among others.

Besides Housefull 4, Akshay Kumar is also part of multiple projects – some of which he has already shot. He will star in Laxmmi Bomb, Good News, Bachchan Pandey and Sooryavanshi. Good News also stars Diljit Dosanjh, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kiara Advani. Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi co-stars Katrina Kaif.
