Sonakshi Sinha’s First Look From Laal Kaptaan Is Mysterious

Saif Ali Khan starrer film Laal Kaptaan is currently in news because of his intense look as a Naga Sadhu. The actor underwent a complete makeover to get into the skin of the character. Now, adding more to the film is Sonakshi Sinha’s look from the revenge drama.

While Saif Ali Khan plays a bounty hunter – Naga Sadhu, Sonakshi will play a cameo. While her screen time might be less, we hear her role in the film is of utmost importance.

In the first look, she is seen sitting gracefully. Dressed with a nakaab, the actress looks mesmerizing and mysterious.

Without giving much away, Director Navdeep Singh says the character is of utmost importance to the film’s plot. He says,

“It is an imperative role. It is a special appearance but very pivotal. At this point, I would like to reveal as little as I can but all I can say it adds a glamour quotient to the film,” shares the director.

Talking about working with Sonakshi Sinha, he says, “Sonakshi is extremely versatile and she fit the bill to perfection. I had not met her earlier and since we were mid schedule it was a pleasant surprise and a pure delight working with her. She is super smart, tuned in, a fabulous actor and totally professional.”

Directed by Navdeep Singh, Laal Kaptaan is co-produced by Eros International and Aanand L Rai’s banner Colour Yellow Productions. The film releases on October 18.
