Sayali Kulkarni won the award for Road safety campaign with Akshay Kumar -‘Yeh road kisike baap ka nahi hai’.
Sayali Kulkarni is now the director of Dadasaheb Phalke Film city for its cultural development.
The whole idea of the move is to get someone fresh with progressive energy. And someone who has ideas to promote the cultural development of Dadasaheb Phalke Film. It is also popular as Film City. The appointment was on 22nd August and she was happy with the same.
Film City is an integrated film studio complex near Sanjay Gandhi National Park at Goregaon East, Mumbai in India and it has several recording rooms, gardens, lakes, theaters and grounds that serve as the venue of many Bollywood film shootings. It was built in 1977 by the state government to provide facilities and concessions to the film industry.
Commenting on the same, Sayali said,
“I am very happy and excited with the appointment, as it brings with it a lot of responsibility and a great opportunity. I will give my best and will leave no stone unturned to contribute to the cultural community and bring about a positive revolution.”
