Tahira Kashyap, who was diagnosed with breast cancer has been an inspiration to many as she has proved that nothing can stop you from her achieving your goals.
Tahira Kashyap is now all set to direct a movie called Sharmaji Ki Beti which has two female leads.
Talking about the project in an interview with a leading daily, she said:
“This is about women, and we are going to keep it at that for now. I don’t want to reveal much about the film, it’s too early. There is no determined time period for when we will start this project. But I am looking to start this at the earliest.”
There were rumors that Madhuri Dixit has been roped in, but Kashyap has not yet finalized on the cast. The film is reportedly based on two women from different age groups and also deals with the subject of urban existence and conflicts.
When asked about Ayushmann Khurrana’s appearance in the movie, she said:
“There is no scope for him to be a part of it for now, but let’s see what happens. For now, it’s only about women. Ayushmann is also busy with his other commitments and as his wife, I am only proud of his choices.”
Dismissing the rumors about Madhuri Dixit Nene playing a role in her film, the director said:
“That’s all speculation, there is nothing confirmed. A lot of names come up, there were no formal announcements but it’s not true that we announce it.”
