Ishaan Khatter, who made his Bollywood debut with Majid Majidi’s Beyond The Clouds, was last seen opposite Janhvi Kapoor in Shashank Khaitan’s Dhadak. With two movies itself, the actor gained a huge fan following.
Recently, we had got to know that Ishaan Khatter was all set for his next project with Vishal Bhardwaj. He would be seen playing Saleem Sinai in this film which is based on Salman Rushdie’s Booker Prize-winning novel.
Though there was no official announcement about the same. However, to everyone’s surprise, it looks like the young gun has opted out of Vishal Bhardwaj’s web series. And it seems to be because of over growing creative differences. According to a report in a leading daily, Vishal is now looking to launch a newcomer in his Netflix film.
He was also approached earlier for Mira Nair’s screen adaptation of Vikram Seth’s A Suitable Boy. Now, another report went on to suggest that Ishaan had even opted out of Mira Nair’s adaptation of A Suitable Boy after signing Vishal’s film.
Well, if the report is indeed true, Ishaan has lost not one but two great projects, which leaves Ishaan without a project in hand.
