Katrina Kaif Reveals On How She Came On Board For Bharat

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif have given us amazing movies together. Movies like Tiger Zinda Hai, Ek Tha Tiger, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, Yuvraaj, and now Bharat.

Katrina Kaif’s look was revealed today in the poster of Bharat which also featured Salman Khan.

We all know that Priyanka Chopra was to be paired with Salman in this film instead of Katrina but due to some reasons, Priyanka backed out of the film and the director Ali Abbas Zafar cast Katrina in the movie who also appears to be Ali Abbas Zafar’s best friend.

Revealing about how she came on board, Katrina told a leading daily:

“Ali (Abbas Zafar) and I are good friends, but when it comes to working, we are completely honest with each other. I read the script from start to finish in three hours and immediately called him to tell him that I loved it. I realized there was an opportunity of going the extra mile with this character. So, it had nothing to do with my friendship with Salman or Ali. In fact, Salman did not even call me after I signed the film. We met directly on the set.”

Bharat also starring Tabu, Nora Fatehi, Disha Patani, Sonali Kulkarni, Jackie Shroff, and Sunil Grover is al; set to hit theatres on June 5th.
