AK Rahman Appeals To The Government To Save Jet Airways

Recently, Jet Airways, India’s oldest private carrier, decided to suspend its operations temporarily. Reason? The airline was suffering from huge losses for a while and it all came down to a point where it did not have any more funds to carry on with business. While the break is said to be ‘temporary’, there is no clarity on when it will resume operations.
Celebrity anchor Ak Rahman, who is known to make videos to spread awareness about various issues, recently posted a video on his YouTube channel in which he shared his experience of being a frequent flyer with the airline and made an appeal to the Government to save it. In the video, Rahman states how Jet Airways has been a name to reckon with in the airline sector and has consistently provided the best of the services. He also stresses on the point that it has brought a lot of pride and glory to the country and must be saved at any cost.
About the video, he says, “As an anchor, it is important for me to keep a tab on all the major events happening in the world. When I realised, Jet Airways was suspending its operations temporarily, I was heartbroken. I have been a frequent flyer with the airline and had always recommended it to my friends and family members for the excellent services it provides the flyers with. The Government seems to have all the money in the world to spend on statues and other things but they are ignoring the issues which are more relevant. I hope my video reaches out to them and they think about it.”
The anchor, who is busy with shows across the globe, plans to make and release a few more videos on a couple of more issues soon.
