Ajay Devgn: Actresses Have As Much Shelf Life As Actors

Ajay Devgn, who was last seen in Total Dhamaal was present at the trailer launch of his upcoming film, De De Pyaar De along with Tabu, Rakul Preet Singh, director Akiv Ali and others.

At the trailer launch, Ajay Devgn was asked about his take on actresses having shorter shelf lives than actors in our industry.

 

The actor said:

“I think this question was written 10 years ago. Times have changed. Actresses have as much shelf life as actors. It’s not true at all (that actresses have a lesser shelf life). I’m sure everyone agrees.”

 

When asked if the number of elder actors are more than the number of elder actresses, Ajay said:

“But it’s changed, no? Tabu is here. Kajol is here. There are so many of them. So things are changing.”
