Republic Day: 5 Bollywood Movies That Will Make You Feel Proud As An Indian

26th January was chosen as the Republic Day because it was on this day in 1930 when the Declaration of Indian Independence (Purna Swaraj) was proclaimed by the Indian National Congress as opposed to the Dominion status offered by British Regime. Also, on this day in 1950, the Constitution of India was signed.

The film is based on the nuclear bomb test explosions conducted by the Indian Army at Pokhran in 1998. This movie will make you stand up and salute our Indian Army.

Raazi directed by Meghna Gulzar, Raazi stars Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles. The film is an adaptation of Harinder Sikka’s 2008 novel Calling Sehmat which is a true account of an Indian Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) agent who, upon her father’s request, is married into a Pakistani family of military officials to relay information to India, prior to the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971.

Written and directed by Aditya Dhar, URI stars Vicky Kaushal, Yami Gautam, Paresh Rawal and Mohit Raina. It is about the retaliation to the 2016 Uri attack. The film released recently and has been garnered a great response by the critics as well as the audiences. A movie that must not be missed.
