Priyanka Chopra All Set To Play The Role Of Ma Anand Sheela

Our desi girl, Priyanka Chopra has been the talk of the town since her fairy tale wedding with Nick Jonas. The actress has now resumed work with her upcoming Hollywood flick, Isn’t It Romantic.

On a television show, Priyanka Chopra revealed that she will be essaying the character of late spiritual leader Osho’s disciple, Ma Anand Sheela, which will be helmed by Oscar-winning director, Barry Levinson.

 

She said:

“I am developing a feature with Barry Levinson. He is an iconic American director. We are developing it (from the perspective of) Sheela who is this guru who originated from India. She was his right-hand woman and she was devious. She created a whole cult in America. He was called Osho. I don’t know if you’ve heard of him. I am developing that next for me to star in and produce.”

 

Besides this Priyanka will also be seen in Shonali Bose’s The Sky is Pink alongside Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim.
