Farhan Akhtar and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, the duo who gave us the heart warming journey of athlete Milkha Singh in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag are all set to reunite for another sports film but this time it will be about boxing!
The film is titled as Toofan and will be produced by Farhan Akhtar along with his partner Ritesh Sidhwani under the Excel Entertainment banner.
Farhan announced this news on Twitter. He tweeted:
Farhan will have to undergo extensive prep to essay the character of the boxer and the said film is expected to go on floor this year.
Well, it is great to have the duo come up with another amazing film which is said to not be a biopic exactly but a film that everyone needs to see.
Besides this, Farhan is currently busy with the shooting of Shonali Bose’s The Sky Is Pink where he reunites with Priyanka Chopra as her husband.
