Forbes India released their ‘Forbes India Celebrity 100’ 2018 list. Topping the chart is Salman Khan. This isn’t the first time the Tiger has claimed the top spot – it’s his third consecutive year. With earnings of Rs 253.25 crore through his films, television appearances and brand endorsements between October 1, 2017, and September 30, 2018, Salman Khan has become India’s highest-paid celebrity.

The actor had major releases during this period – Tiger Zinda Hai and Race 3 and has hosted two reality shows – 10 Ka Dum on Sony Entertainment and Bigg Boss on Colors.
Coming in second is not a celebrity but a sports person. Indian skipper Virat Kohli has replaced Shah Rukh Khan on the No. 2 spot. The sportsperson has had an earring of Rs 228.09 crores in the last year with big endorsements.

At No.3 is none other than Akshay Kumar with a total of Rs. 185 crores in his kitty. The actor featured in Padman and Gold – both that are part of the 100 crores club.
For the first time ever a woman had made it to the Top 5 in the Forbes India Celebrity 100 and its one of B-Town’s new bride. Actress Deepika Padukone earned Rs. 112.8 and made history.

At No. 5 is ex-Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni with Rs 101.77 crores in his bank.

The others in the Top 10 list are Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, Sachin Tendulkar and Ajay Devgn respectively.

Shah Rukh, who had no releases during the time period earned Rs 56 crore and is at No. 13. This year 18 women made it to this list including Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma, PV Sindhu, Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor Khan and others.
