Mouni Roy To Step Into Sangeeta Bijlani’s Shoes For KGF

Mouni Roy, who was last seen in Akshay Kumar starrer Gold is all set for her next movie Brahmastra with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.

Now we got to know that Mouni Roy has been brought on board for a special song for Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s KGF starring Yash.

It is a remake of Sangeeta Bijlani and Jackie Shroff’s chartbuster “Gully Gully Mein Phirta Hai”, from their 1989 film Tridev.

According to sources, Mouni will start shoot for the song on 7th & 8th December. She will have 3 looks in the movie and will shake a leg with the lead, Yash.

Directed by Prashanth Neel, KGF is a two-part period drama set in the 70s. It is a story about Rocky and his journey from the streets of Mumbai to the gold mines of Kolar and the fields of Karnataka.

KGF is a big budget Kannada film getting a pan India release and is being made in five languages — Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
