It seems like a tight and stressful schedule has taken a toll on actress Shraddha Kapoor. The actress who was last seen in one of the biggest box-office successes of 2018, Stree, has been diagnosed with dengue.

Shraddha began shooting for her the Saina Nehwal biopic over 10 days ago (September 22). But now, due to her poor health, the actress has taken a break and the shooting of the film has been stalled.
A source told a leading daily,
“Shraddha started feeling unwell a few days into the schedule. She stopped shooting on September 27 after a checkup revealed that she has dengue.”
A source from the set told the daily,
“She is expected to return to the film’s set in a couple of days. Meanwhile, Amole continues to shoot portions featuring the child actor who portrays the younger Saina, and other supporting artists.”
Producer Bhushan Kumar also confirmed the news saying that Shraddha had a very busy schedule for months now and the same seems to have taken a toll on her health. He also added that all team members empathize with Shraddha‘s situation.
The team will soon get the update on her health and when she can resume work.
The Saina Nehwal biopic is helmed by Amol Gupte and Shraddha plays the titular role in the same. The movie traces the journey of India’s ace badminton player Saina Nehwal. The Stree actress is reportedly training under Pullela Gopichand.
