Ajay Devgn is all set to star in Taanaji – The Unsung Warrior. The film that was announced earlier this year has got more exciting now as Saif Ali Khan will be joining the team. These actors were seen together on-screen 12 years ago in Omkara.
In the 2006 film by Vishal Bhardwaj’s Indian adaptation of Othello, Ajay played the titular role and Saif Ali Khan played the antagonist. It now seems that Taanaji will follow a similar path with Ajay playing the lead and Saif playing the baddie.
According to the reports, Saif said that he has already begun shooting for the film. He is currently gearing up for the release of Baazaar alongside Rohan Mehra, Chitrangada Singh and Radhika Apte. Saif is also midway shooting the Navdeep Singh directorial titled Hunter.
Taanaji – The Unsung Warrior is produced by Ajay Devgn and is being directed by Om Raut. It is co-produced by Bhushan Kumar.
