Karan Johar who debuted as a director in the Bollywood film industry cannot believe that his first film, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, has turned 20 today. The multitalented KJo – he’s an actor, director, producer, host, designer among other things – took to social media and shared his feelings with the world on this special day.
It’s been two decades that the film released (feeling old?), and we aren’t the only ones feeling nostalgic. The caption KJo wrote to the picture he posted showed that he’s just as happy and amused as we are. Here’s what he wrote
“Can’t believe it’s been #20yearsofKKHH! A film that gave me love, acceptance and a career….will always be eternally grateful to @iamsrk @kajol #rani @beingsalmankhan for indulging a 25-year-old boy with stars in his eyes!!! Thank you for all the love…….❤❤❤.”

In an interview to DNA, Karan said,
“I owe everything in my career to KKHH. After its release, I knew I had a job that I could keep (laughs). I was like, ‘Chalo, they won’t throw me out of the industry now. I’ll be able to make more films and create more cinema memories.”
