Love Sonia Actress Richa Chadha Hosts A Special Screening For Women Of Small Towns

Love Sonia actress, Richa Chadha will be hosting a special screening of her upcoming movie for women of small towns and villages across the country. She will be doing so in order to create awareness on human and sex trafficking.

Richa truly believes that it is extremely essential to educate women at the elementary level in order to eliminate the practice of human sex trade. Commenting on the same, Richa Chadha said,

“Love Sonia’s themes are relevant to people from the lower strata of society. Girls should be made aware of the dark reality of human trafficking, right from a young age. High schools and colleges should provide this education, too. After the film’s release, I plan on showing the film to girls in smaller towns. I want to hold these screenings to help create wider awareness and kick-start conversations around this pertinent subject.”

Directed by Tabrez Noorani, Love Sonia is the story of a young girl who gets trapped in the dark and ugly world of global sex trade. The film that has premiered at the Indian Film Festival Of Melbourne went on to receive awards there as well.

Tamasha Talkies and Samraaj Talkies in association with India Take One Productions, Cinemantra Entertainment and Media & Dynasty Consulting Group present Love Sonia. It is co-produced by Amar Butala and Executive Producers include Shalini Thackeray, Deepak Nayar, and Pravesh Sahni. Zee Studios will release the film in India.

The film has a strong ensemble cast including Freida Pinto, Manoj Bajpayee, Rajkummar Rao, Richa Chadha, Anupam Kher, Adil Hussain, Sai Tamhankar, Sunny Parwar, Demi Moore, Mark Duplass, Noorani is introducing Mrunal Thakur as well as Riya Sisodiya. Love Sonia is Tabrez Noorani’s directorial debut and releases on 14th September 2018.
