John Abraham Reveals Why He Doesn’t Have Too Many Well-Wishers Or Friends

After sharing with the audience the story of Pokhran in Parmanu, John Abraham is here to fight against corruption and be a girl’s hero in Satyameva Jayate.

Today, during interviews, when a journalist asked John Abraham how he chooses his scripts, he replied:

“It’s just intuition. I just go by my gut. If I feel this works for me, I will do it. If I feel it doesn’t work for me, I will not do it. I don’t ask five people what do you think, should I do this or not. I don’t go by trends. If a patriotic trend is going on then only I’ll do patriotic movies. No. Like nowadays sports biopic trend is going on in Bollywood. Why should I do a sports biopic? Beacuse the world is doing it? I won’t do it. On the contrary I will not do it because everyone else is doing it.”

 

Recently, Aamir Khan had said that he used to say yes to his friends for films at the start of his career but now he has become firm. So has John Abraham said yes to films as a favour? To this, he said:

“I have said no from the start only. Very start of the career only I started saying no. This is why I don’t have too many well wishers or friends. I really respect Aamir. I love Shah Rukh and these people genuinely like me also. Because they think that I am in my own world. I do anything. Just give him a motorcyle and keep him away. He will do whatever he has to do. When we want content or want to talk to him, we will go to him but don’t ask him to come for parties and all.

 

You won’t see my at parties. It’s not because it is bad. I can’t go. It’s not my space. I have a problem with the smell of alcohol and too much loud music. I get migraine. I don’t drink, so what will I go and do. I don’t socialise much. I am very friendly with people. I will sit and talk to them a lot but can’t talk to everyone who dresses up fancy and comes in a fancy car. Then I start having a problem. Because I feel its a strange world. It is not my world. My world is real people. No bodyguards.”
