Sanjay Dutt who is returning to film production after 7 years with Prasthaanam, is going the extra mile to see that it’s done well.
Sanjay Dutt was busy shooting Torbaaz amidst harsh weather conditions in the beautiful locales of Kyrgyzstan for last 30 days. Now we learn, the actor had reported a day early in Mumbai to ensure all the preparation associated with his upcoming production, Prasthaanam were taken care of.
The Bollywood actor is all set to start the shoot of Prasthaanam today, as its also his mother – Nargisji’s birthday. Check out the pics from the first-day
A source confirmed,
“Sanjay was supposed to arrive in Mumbai a day later. Instead, he took the 4.30 am flight from Kyrgyzstan and waited at Dubai airport in transit for 4 hours, on arrival he headed straight to his office in Mumbai. Prasthaanam will go on floors in June and in spite of being tired after a long month of shooting, he only left the office after he ensured all aspects of pre-production are looked into and completed.”
Produced by Sanjay Dutt’s Productions, Prasthaanam based on the Telugu film of the same name (Prasthanam) was an instant hit with the audience. The film will see Manisha Koirala and Sanjay Dutt sharing screen space after a 10-year gap. The film also stars Ali Fazal and Amyra Dastur and will be extensively shot in Lucknow.
