Nora Fatehi is currently in news for her sizzling dance number from Nikhil Advani film, Satyamev Jayate co-starring John Abraham. Since the announcement was made about this song being inspired from Sushmita Sen’s Dilbar (Sirf Tum), we are keen to know what Nora has in store for us all.
Apart from having big shoes to fill, Nora has also taken major inspiration for her clothes and moves in the video from internationally renowned Turkish belly dancer, Didem.
Didem is well known for her outfits and Nora wanted her costumes in the song to use some of those styles and cuts. In belly dancing it is crucial to have the right outfit especially those that give the dancer the freedom to glide through the floor. Not just the outfit, but Nora even channelised moves from the iconic figure in the dancing world and took inspirational cues from her while shaking a leg to the song. Nora is herself known for her belly dancing videos which she uploads on her social media earning her a great number of fan following.
Speaking about it, Nora said,
“Didem is a marvel to look at when she dances and thus she’s a world renowned figure. I absolutely love doing belly dancing routine and anyone who follows the art knows who Didem is and she’s amazing at what she does. When I was shooting for Dilbar, she was somebody I truly took inspiration from in putting together a well-choreographed number”.
The song is expected to release this month. Nora Fatehi is currently shooting for her upcoming TV stint as a host in MTV’s Dating In The Dark.
