Sonam Kapoor is all set to tie the knot with beau Anand Ahuja tomorrow on 8th May in an intimate affair. Since the day the announcement was made of the Khoobsurat actress tying the knot, she has been the talk of the town.
The grand wedding is said to be a two-day affair. The Mehendi was yesterday, May 6 at the actress’ residence. Anand and Sonam will get married in a traditional Sikh ceremony tomorrow May 8. A reception will be held on the same day in the evening.
The wedding started with a grand mehendi ceremony yesterday which was hosted at Anil Kapoor’s home yesterday.
For her Mehendi, Sonam had worn an Anuradha Vakil lehenga, which she paired with big danglers. Her soon-to-be hubby complemented her in an achkan. Both of them looked stunning and happy.
Present at the mehendi ceremony were late actress Sridevi’s daughters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor, Karan Johar, Rani Mukerji, Kirron Kher and other. Everyone were having a blast at the ceremony.

The sangeet ceremony will take place today, where various Bollywood biggies are expected to perform and attend the ceremony.
Sonam who never revealed anything before about her relation with Anand Ahuja gave the marriage news to all the media in a statement by her family.
The statement was:
“From the Kapoor & Ahuja families, The Kapoor & Ahuja families, take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam & Anand. The wedding will take place on the 8th of May in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request you to respect the family’s need for privacy. Thank you for all your blessings and love, as we celebrate this special moment in our lives.”
