Expanding its originals repertoire, Viu gears up for the launch of its latest digital series Kaushiki.
Kaushiki revolves around Kaushiki (Sayani Gupta) who becomes a part of a popular and high-profile group of friends. Extremely glad about the change in her life, Kaushiki finds herself in a complex situation when she discovers her friends aren’t actually who they appear to be – they each have a dark secret.
The series will feature stars like Rannvijay Singh and Sayani Gupta as well as renowned artists such as Omkar Kapoor, Namit Das, Manasi Scott, Shruti Srivastava and Rajeev Siddharth.

Actor Ranvijay Singh who plays a role of a cop in Kaushiki, said,
“It feels great to be associated with a series such as Kaushiki. When I was offered Kaushiki, I just had to go ahead with the role since I felt that everything was perfect, from the script to the cast to my role. The entire team has put in a lot of effort in this series and I hope the audience loves the show.”
Sayani Gupta who plays the protagonist said,
“The script of Kaushiki really excited me as it gave me a chance to innovate with the set of roles I like to essay. The series has a great ensemble and it was great fun shooting with all of them. The trailer is out and I am really looking forward to its launch. Hope people enjoy watching me in as Kaushiki as much as I enjoyed enacting it.”
Namit Das, who has an interesting part in the series, said
“Some stories are so impeccable that you just can’t say a no, and Kaushiki was one of them. Without reading the script, I happily said a Yes because the gist of the story itself was so riveting. I have enjoyed every moment of shoot schedule for this series and I hope the audience loves our performance in it as well.”
Actor Omkar Kapoor had this to say on being a part of Kaushiki,
“Kaushiki is an exceptionally amazing script and Ankush’s character was a great role to play as he has hidden secrets like the others as well.. Right from the direction to the selection of actors, everything was just apt. I am sure the viewers will be in for a treat with Kaushiki, as it promises to engage the masses with its spellbinding and twisted storyline.”
Director Suparn Verma commented,

Kaushiki will be 13 episodes long and is produced by the media giant – Big Synergy. The series is set to release today. April 27, 2018
