R Madhavan To Be Replace By Manav Vij In This Saif Ali Khan Starrer Movie?

We all knew that R Madhavan was roped in to play the lead in Navdeep Singh’s historical drama opposite Saif Ali Khan.

A few days back, Maddy posted that he has got a shoulder injury and is hospitalized due to it. Well, the actor has still not recovered from this injury and is advised to rest.

 

Due to this, the actor won’t be able to shoot for this untitled film with Saif Ali Khan. Due to his shoulder injury, Madhavan had also opted out of the Ranveer Singh starrer Simmba.

 

Now, according to some reports, R Madhavan has been replaced in Navdeep Singh’s historical drama by Udta Punjab and Rangoon actor Manav Vij.

The shooting of this film began last month in Desuri with Saif Ali Khan.  Manav Vij is undergoing the same training that Madhavan underwent for the role and will soon start shooting.

 

The leading lady of this film is Mukkabaaz actress Zoya Hussain and she is being trained in sidesaddle rides. Deepak Dobriyal, too, is said to be a part of the film. The first schedule of the film has already been wrapped up in Pali and now the team will start shooting for its second schedule in Bhilwara and Udaipur.
