Sridevi Died Because Of Accidental Drowning, Says Dubai Police

Actor Sridevi passed away on Sunday. She had gone to Dubai with her husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi Kapoor to attend Boney Kapoor’s nephew Mohit Marwah’s wedding.

The reason for her death was told as severe cardiac arrest. She was found unconscious in her bathroom and was declared dead upon arrival at Rashid Hospital in Dubai.

 

Now, on twitter, Dubai Police has stated that her death was ‘due to drowning in her hotel apartment bathtub following loss of consciousness.

According to Dubai Police, the case has been transferred to #Dubai Public Prosecution.

 

Sridevi’s body is expected to arrive in Mumbai today as more details are awaited.
