Ali Fazal, who was last seen in Fukrey Returns had an incredible year 2017. His Hollywood venture, Victoria & Abdul too gained enormous appreciation for his performance and achievement.
Recently, Ali had flown back to the States for a special photo shoot. He was there shooting for Annie Leibovitz who wanted to shoot Ali for a portrait story.
Annie is America’s biggest female photographer, she was the controversial photographer who shot John Lennon hours before he was assassinated and has since then done many talked about shoots with the likes of Queen Elizabeth, Micheal Jackson, Miley Cyrus, Demi Moore, Benedict Cumberbatch, Mark Zuckerberg, just to name a few!
Ali was honored to have got this opportunity to work with her. On returning back to India he said:
“I had a once in a lifetime opportunity to shoot with the iconic Annie Leibovitz. I could never have imagined to be in the presence of a legend such as her. And to be able to bring such class to the world of photography and be such a humble human being is truly commendable. Annie has clicked some of the most sort after celebrities in the world including Sir John Lennon and Mohammad Ali. I find myself lucky to have worked with her. Hope our paths cross again.”
It is indeed a pleasure to see this Indian actor achieve great success overseas. We look forward to having more such success from Ali Fazal.
