Bollywood filmmakers have tried to capture the essence of Balasaheb Thackeray in various films, like Amitabh Bachchan in Sarkar.
But now there is a biopic made on the Balashaeb and it stars none other than Nawazuddin Siddiqui that will be directed by Abhijit Panse.

Nawazuddin had sent a voice message from Mauritius. This is what he said:
“It’s truly a great day for me. I am fortunate to have got an opportunity to enact the role of such a great personality which any actor in the world would love to do. I am sure Balasaheb will inspire and bless me in this venture.”
