Bareilly Ki Barfi starring Rajkummar Rao, Kriti Sanon and Ayushmann Khurrana that was released four months back was loved and applauded by the audience as well as the critics.

The year 2017 started for the brilliant filmmaker on a great note as she won Best Debut Director award for her internationally acclaimed film, Nil Battey Sannata at the Filmfare Awards 2017 and as the year has come to an end, the director recently bagged Best Director Jury Zee Cine Award 2018 for Bareilly Ki Barfi.
Based on the French book, titled ‘Ingredients of Love’, Ashwiny changed the setting of the story from France to Uttar Pradesh.
