Surveen Chawla will be felicitated by the Chandigarh state government with Icon Award on the occasion of Chandigarh Establishment Day – celebrating 51 Glorious Years of Chandigarh on November 1.
Surveen’s popularity as an actor is not just limited to Bollywood but she’s also one of the most sought after names in the Punjabi film industry.
Surveen has been part of successful Punjabi films like Dharti, Singh Vs Kaur and Disco Singh among others and enjoys a massive fan following in the North.
While Surveen was asked to be present to collect the award, the actress wants to make it special for her parents who according to her are the ones who deserve the achievement.
