Seen essaying the role of a garage owner who helps take care of the new recruit of a terrorist group, he witnessed an early death from the hands of same baddies. Not many remember him here, but if it goes without saying that this was the first time we remember him in a vastly different role than the ones he would do in the future.
Apna Sapna Money Money (2006)

Sarju Maharaj Banerswala, anyone who has watched the film will remember the poor naïve man who Riteish Deshmukh cons while travelling. The perils he faces in the hands off Chunkey Panday and gang made our bones tickle.

Newton (2017)
Even though Mishra had a small part in this film, yet he managed to shine and advice Rajkummar Rao in understanding life better.
Badshaho (2017)

Sanjay Mishra played a lock picker in this badass crime drama. We just loved how he bought lightness to the movie. And his love for desi daru, well what can we say…
Agreed most only remember him for his comic timing but, he has proved he can do close to any roles with the above movies.
Happy birthday Sanjay Mishra.
