Varun Dhawan is known for playing different characters in his every movie, be it his grey shade in ‘Badlapur’ or the fun side in ‘Main Tera Hero’. Among all his movies, ‘Badlapur’ received more appreciation than the rest. And now it looks like the actor is ready to take up the challenge again as one of his upcoming movies, ‘October’, directed by Shoojit Sircar, will be of a darker shade than ‘Badlapur’ too.
Talking about the movie, Varun said:
“Both these films might be in different spaces, but ‘October’ isn’t a light-hearted romantic film. It’s heartbreaking and dark, probably more niche than ‘Badlapur’.”
According to sources:
“This film is dark and he won’t have any makeup. It’s going to be very real. It’s one of the things Varun likes about the film. Shoojit (Sircar) has designed his character really well.”
Director Shoojit Sircar also spoke about ‘October’ some time back. He said:
“It is a genre that I have always wanted to delve in. While love and romance have been entwined with Indian cinema, there is abundance in that emotion that everyone can have their own interpretations of. Juhi Chaturvedi and I have always tried to create stories from the reflections of real life moments that we see around us. ‘October’ is another effort to explore those moments out of simple situations of life.”
Well, be it any role, Varun surely knows how to entertain the audience with his performance. Agree?
