TV Stars Took Time Out And Enjoyed The Mumbai Rains
The recent rains created quite a havoc in Mumbai. While most TV actors managed to stay indoors and avoided venturing in the waterlogged city, others took this time to go out to enjoy the rain.

We were shooting in Umargaon, so all we heard was the sound of thunder and rain. It’s scary at times as so many people suffer because of this sudden and heavy rainfall. I wish we become more responsible by not taking nature for granted and doing our small bits in whatever way we can.
Sometimes social media spreads rumours and panic. So, generally in such situations, I try to request people to not panic but be prepared and alert. You can’t stop natural calamities, but you can try to be safe. I constantly watch the news for updates as well. When it rained, I tried to reach home early and was constantly in touch with family and friends. Excess of rain is a treat on seashore cities, so I enjoy the monsoon but when it’s pouring I ask people to stay away from the beaches.

You obviously can’t control nature, so you might as well enjoy the last of the rains. I sat indoors lazing around on my bed watching Netflix and binging on nachos and tea.
I was shooting on during the rainy days. And after pack up, I was stuck in traffic for 4 hours because of waterlogging. I had to roll down my glass so that I don’t suffocate. It was a horrible experience, I had tears in my eyes.
We got a two-day holiday, so I was very excited. But it was raining so heavily, that the whole holiday was a waste of time. There were many things which were pending on my to-do list, I had to catch up with my friends and do so many other things. But the whole city was not functioning. It created panic, but we cannot help it. We can only try to be safe.
Well, I am glad I have not been shooting during the heavy rains. I would like to appreciate the Meteorological department for issuing warnings in advance and the state government for declaring a holiday for schools and colleges..
I was sitting next to a window overlooking a green patch of land and singing old Jagjit Singh ghazals! I also kept a pen and paper to write anything which the romantic weather inspired me to. As far as the panic is concerned, I found it largely unfounded!
I did not do much, just sat at home, watched stuff on Youtube and completed a book. We could not go out because we could have got stuck because of waterlogging everywhere. You cannot do much about it. All you can do is try to be safe.
I had to go for the shoot of my show, after that I made a sudden plan for shopping. I just went out with my family, had fun and ate Samosas and Bhajiyas. I hope people are safe and are enjoying these rains as much as I am.
When it rains during shoots we all huddle together in a room and order hot adrak tea and snacks to enjoy the rains. I feel that at times, unnecessary panic is created with stupid unverified forward messages on social media.
