Sharad Kelkar and Ajay Devgn are back together in a film after 8 years and the reason is their movie ‘Baadshaho’, where Sharad plays a character with more grey than black and white.
As Baadshaho is a high octane action film, Sharad was required to punch Ajay Devgn. Now, this got Sharad a bit awkward since Ajay Devgn is his senior. It was very difficult for him to give the shot. But, it was Ajay who made it easy and comfortable for him as they share a great bond on screen as well as off screen.
Says Sharad,
”There are several action sequences in the film which required me to punch Ajay Sir. Given that Milan Sir likes his sequences to look authentic, it was really hard for me to raise my hand on Ajay Sir. But, I have to say that Ajay Sir is an amazing professional and an even better human being. He realised I was hesitant and told me to relax and just concentrate on my role. We get along very well since we have worked on a TV show earlier. He told me, ‘Sharad, your role demands you to beat me, then just do it.’ That really helped.”
