One evening during the shoot, her staff asked her if they could click a picture with Rajni Sir. Unfortunately, he had prior commitments that day and had to leave right after the shoot. Immediately after pack up, Anjali got a call from Rajni Sir himself! He was apologizing that he had an urgent meeting which is why he couldn’t give her time.
Speaking about the same, Anjali said,
“I was so taken aback that THE superstar was calling me up to apologize for something so trivial! I kept wondering what the need for him to call was. But maybe, it’s these small things which make him so great. It’s incredible to see how gracious he is and how much he cares for almost everything and everyone around him.”
Along with ‘Kaala’, Anjali will be seen this year in Amit Mapuskar’s ‘Newton’ opposite Rajkummar Rao and Aanand L Rai produced ‘Nimmo’.
