Directed by Mike Thurmeier, the fifth installment in the franchise and a sequel to Ice Age: Continental Drift, Ice Age Collision Course will premiere on July 16th at 1 PM and 9 PM only on Star Movies. It features an ensemble cast of Hollywood A-listers including Ray Romano as Manny, Queen Latifah as Ellie, Jennifer Lopez as Shira, John Leguizamo as Sid, Denis Leary as Diego & Jesse Tyler Ferguson from Modern Family, as Shangri Llama among others.
Ice Age: Collision Course is a fun take on the formation of the universe, its evolution, and everything in between. From heartbreak to family disputes to learning the importance of teamwork, the movie touches upon every-day topics with ample exaggeration and loads of hilarity. Scrat’s storyline in the movie adds a punch of humour as it parodies science fiction films such as Alien, Prometheus and The Martian.
