The makers of Maatr – The Mother have launched the logo of the film today. Starring Raveena Tandon and Madhur Mittal in the lead, Maatr is a hard-hitting film reflecting the plight of the women of today. Women are scared. Women are married. The ill-treatment of women has become a grave issue and Maatr is a movie that aims to bring to light the injustice meted out to the female gender and how justice is the need of the hour!
Raveena, who is selective about her projects, will be seen in a powerful avatar. It would be wonderful to witness how she brings to life the story of every woman of today!
Directed by Ashtar Sayed and written by Michael Pellico, the film Maatr has been produced by Anjum Rizvi , Manoj Adhikari, and Pugmark Films. It will be releasing on 21st April, 2017.
