A number of 90s hits are being recreated for films by various music directors. Joining the squad are the Men in White, Abbas-Mustan.
Mustafa Burmawala, who is debuting with Abbas-Mustan’s romantic thriller ‘Machine’, will be seen dancing with Kiara Advani in a new version of the hit song, ‘Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast’. It will be shot in the setup of a club and Mustafa will be seen sporting dark glasses just like Akshay Kumar.
The director duo said that Akki will be the first one to see the song once it’s made as they share a cordial relationship with the actor. The song will be choreographed by Bosco Martis.
The original song was sung by Udit Narayan and Kavita Krishnamurthy, whereas the revisited version will have Neha Kakkar for the female vocals.
Directed by Abbas- Mustan, Machine stars Mustafa, Kiara Advani, Carla Dennis, and Eshan Shanker in lead roles. It is set to release on 24th March 2017.
