So creating her with the help of the writing and my director was a really exciting process. I’ve genuinely had so much fun stepping back into her shoes, and I’m really looking forward to seeing how the audience receives her this season.”
Bhuvan Arora, who reprises his role from Season 1, shared, “It was lovely to come back to Dupahiya and, of course, to Amavas. There is something endearing about this world and these characters. Season two has the same eccentricity, hilarity and ups and downs that audiences loved in the first season, but the twists this time caught me off guard too. Amavas has also matured in ways I didn’t expect, and it was a lot of fun to explore that side. I am excited for audiences to see what he and the rest of Dhadakpur get up to this time!”
Sparsh Shrivastava, who plays Bhugol, shared, “Bhugol is different from the roles I have played so far. On the surface, he may seem simple and straightforward, but there is a lot more to him than meets the eye. What I enjoy about playing him is discovering those little nuances and contradictions that make him unpredictable. As the Drishyam franchise heads towards its much-anticipated final chapter, Shriya Salgaonkar opens up about playing Nandini, a character who will always hold a special place in her heart, and what it meant to bid goodbye to the Drishyam world after wrapping up the shoot.
Shriya Saran shared, “Nandini will always be very close to my heart. Nandini and Vijay have this very beautiful relationship where Vijay never says that Nandini did anything wrong, except for the 1st part where she says, “Main ne sab theek kia na” and he says, “Nahi, vo humare pass vapis aaenge” after that he’s always supported her.”
She further added, “It’s very beautifully written by Abhishek and from 2nd part to 3rd part, the way they work as a team…there’s a beautiful line which goes on from part 1 to conclusion, and she says, “Dhum Ghut ta hai” and I feel that explains what she is going through, pain, fear, what will happen tomorrow and the fear of losing a family and wanting to be there for her children.”
Shriya felt emotional on the last day on the sets of Drishyam: The Conclusion, sharing her experience, the actress mentioned, “When we were shooting for the conclusion, the last day of set, I remember leaving the set, last time I looked at the dinner table, they spent so much time there, so much shot there, in the house and I felt like, this is going away, but the memories that I’ve had, so much I’ve learnt and how beautifully it’s written, it will always stay with me.”

In a landmark motion-capture exercise created for the film, 37 performers—from a 4-year-old child to a 70-year-old—were captured simultaneously in real time during a single session. The challenge involved accurately capturing and preserving the integrity of all 37 individual performances simultaneously within one capture volume.
To execute the feat, the film’s VFX Producer developed a new motion-capture pipeline and workflow, tailored to Raaka’s scale and technical requirements. For the Guinness World Record attempt, 92 optical motion-capture cameras were deployed within an advanced technical ecosystem integrating capture, calibration, networking, synchronisation, real-time Unreal visualisation, witness cameras, facial capture and multiple specialist teams.

From the filmmaking duo Sneddy, the creative partnership of Teddy Stern and Sneha Mehta, GETAR HERO is a visually striking and emotionally charged film that reimagines the classic Western through the lens of modern-day Mumbai.
The story follows a down-on-his-luck cowboy who arrives in Bombay only to discover his guitar and wallet have been stolen. With his future hanging by a thread, he plunges into the city’s neon-lit streets in a desperate race to recover what he has lost.
Starring internationally acclaimed Indian actor Shashank Arora (Superboys of Malegaon, Made in Heaven, Titli), alongside Manoj Sharma and Rajesh Balwani, the film uses the visual language and mythology of the Western and blends it with the musicality of Bollywood cinema.

Salman Khan used the “Weekend Ka Vaar” episode of Bigg Boss 20 to speak strongly against trolling, body-shaming, and inappropriate paparazzi pictures of women celebrities.

During the episode, Salman defended his ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif after she was reportedly trolled online over her postpartum weight gain.
Referring to pregnancy and motherhood, he said that gaining weight after pregnancy is normal. He added that Katrina would return to work when she felt ready and that she should be able to spend time with her family.
After the video went viral, many social media users praised Salman. Some called him “Pookie,” a Gen Z term used as an affectionate compliment. Others described him as a “green flag” for speaking against online trolling.
Salman also addressed comments about his own age. He said that he is 60 and that people cannot expect him to look the same as he did in Maine Pyar Kiya. He said that he knows people troll him online but chooses not to react.
In a dramatic moment, Salman removed his shirt and hat, wiped off his makeup on camera, and challenged trolls to make fun of him. He also spoke against trolling directed at his brother Sohail Khan and other celebrities, asking people to look at themselves before making fun of others.
The actor also criticised paparazzi for taking inappropriate pictures of actresses, especially from behind or focusing on their bodies. He said that women do not like such photographs and questioned why such images are taken and published.

Reliable sources confirm that Dharma Production is teaming up with Leo Media Collective for a big scale theatrical feature film on Mr. Rameshwar Nath Kao, the founder of R&AW in 1968.
Presently in the development stage, the yet untitled film is looking at a theatrical release on August 11, 2028, which coincides with the Independence Day weekend. The makers have announced the film today – September 21, 2026 – which marks the 58 years since the foundation of R&AW, with a theatrical release aimed in 2028 to honour the 60 year legacy of India’s external intelligence agency.
Speaking about it Karan Johar shared, “Leo media has painstakingly been researching and dramatising this narrative with passion for the past two years, we want this film to be a gripping story based on true facts to pay homage to RAW and honour their milestone year with a solid motion picture … all of us at Dharma are so excited to get going.”
The big scale espionage – actioner is based on the book Gentleman Spymaster by Nitin Gokhale, and the makers are scheduled to take it on floors by mid-2026. The casting, director and other details are kept under wraps for now, but insiders confirm that an A-Lister will spearhead the project.
The film chronicles the journey from 1955 to 1971, establishing the need of R&AW, leading to the formation and the first ever mission in the 1971 war against Pakistan. For those unaware, RN Kao is considered to be a legend in the world of spy craft, and is responsible for bringing the Indian Espionage on the global front.
Over the years, several R&AW Chiefs have spoken highly of RN Kao, honouring his professionalism and strategic mind-set. The RN Kao film will mark the reunion of Dharma Productions with Leo Media Collective after the success of Bad Newz (2024) and Kesari: Chapter 2 (2025).
Orry, aka Orhan Awatramani, has opened up about the physical and emotional challenges he faced during his stint on Khatron Ke Khiladi 15.

Known for his glamorous public persona, Orry revealed that there was much more to his journey than what viewers saw on screen.
In a candid Instagram note addressed to host Rohit Shetty, Orry reflected on how the phrase “Orry being Orry” has often been used to dismiss his struggles. He acknowledged his dramatic personality but emphasised that it should not mean his pain is overlooked or underestimated.
Orry also opened up about the physical toll of the challenges, recalling an insect stunt after which he suffered an intense allergic reaction. He revealed that his body was covered in hives and that the physical discomfort continued for days, despite him choosing not to publicly speak about the experience.
“I choose what to show the world and what not to,” Orry wrote, explaining that seeking sympathy or pity has never been his approach. Despite what he was going through, he said he continued to keep his head high and did not allow his personal struggles to affect his mood or performance whenever he returned to the set.
His latest note offers another glimpse into the lesser-seen side of Orry’s Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 journey, where his signature glamour was accompanied by physically demanding stunts and experiences that, as he says, remained largely unseen by the audience.
