Indo-Canadian singer, Shweta Subram, is a dynamic performer who has showcased her vocal skills time and again in unique pieces. She has sung at prestigious events such as the IIFA Awards (at IIFA Rocks) and has performed worldwide – from Toronto, to New York, Dubai, Mumbai, and more! In addition, she has had successful collaborations with artists like The Piano Guys and Shankar Tucker. When she comes out with a track, one knows that it will be an interesting piece. Shweta tells us,
“I wanted to end 2017 on a very special musical note. I could not have thought of doing it a better way than releasing a lovely composition co-composed by me. A special shout out to the team that has worked sincerely to put this together. I want to thank the talented sitar player Purbayan, arranger Advait Nemlekar, mix and mastering engineer Dipesh Sharma Batalvi, as well as the co-composer and lyricist Zain Khan. The visuals have been beautifully shot and directed by Jibran Khan and team.”
Shweta is the recipient of multiple awards including the North American Best Singer award from Sangam Kala Group, and Best Singer Award from Shankar Mahadevan Academy’s talent hunt (judged by Shankar Mahadevan himself).
