Urban Asian exclusively caught up with IIFA Head Honcho Andre Timmins, who spoke to us about the idea which initiated, that ultimately led into the Indian Oscar Awards, named IIFA.
It has been 17 years since the idea was initiated, and sure enough, it has worked beyond expectations. Andre said,
“We were confused whether to do cinema or cricket. Then we chose to work on what you see as IIFA.”
So that’s how folks, you might have seen something like IPL, but are basically happy loving IIFA, because IIFA rocks.
This year, IIFA will be held in New York. So do not miss it for the world!
