Producer Prerna Arora one of the youngest and successful producers of Bollywood attended the Christian Dior’s Couture meet at Paris on the 2nd and 3rd of March 2017. With the blockbuster film ‘Rustom’ that starred Akshay Kumar, Illeana D’Cruz and Esha Gupta, as her first film, Prerna did mark her presence as a film producer in the world of B-Town. While she has established herself as a film producer and took forward her passion for films, she also makes sure that her passion for fashion does not take a back seat.
The young producer has always had a classy and chic taste in fashion and eventually became a loyalist towards the brands Christian Dior and Burberry. Prerna is the only Indian to have been invited and attended Dior’s 2016 couture event show in Paris, and she gets invited yet again this year.
The Senior Vice President of the brand Christian Dior; Leslie Serrero; had personally invited the young producer for their 2017 Couture event happening in Paris. She also made sure that everything was facilitated for her travel and stay and also expressed her pleasure to have Prerna attend the show.
Talking about this sweet gesture, Producer Prerna Arora says “ It’s inspirational to wear clothes by Versace and Coco Chanel because they are not just fashion icons but people who have built an empire with their vision. Couture from Christian Dior makes you feel different, you are in this amazing posture after wearing it. For casual wear I prefer wearing boy jackets from Gucci.”
She had also said,
“Shopping is my obsession and my biggest stress buster. When not at work you may see me at the Christian Dior or the Burberry store. They are like my second home”.
Prerna’s upcoming films include Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ that recently finished shooting, and ‘Padman’ which will be going on floors in the next few days. Her upcoming films also include a film with Anushka Sharma’s Clean Slate Productions and 6 films (Hindi and Regional) with JA Entertainment.
