The last few movie releases in Bollywood all seem to have one thing in common – that is, they are bringing back some of the hottest tracks from the ’90s in a whole new way! After “Humma Humma” and “Tamma Tamma“, the latest song to be upgraded for our modern audience is “Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast” from the ’90s film Mohra. The original song was pictured on Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon. It was sung by Udit Narayan and Kavita Krishnamurthy. The song was so popular that Raveena was called the “mast mast girl.” Lets see if it can work magic again for a new generation!
“Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast” will be featured in the movie Machine, which is the debut film of Abbas’s (from Abbas-Mustan’s) son Mustafa Burma. The film co-stars Kiara Advani. The teaser will definitely remind you of Raveena and Akshay, and the first few beats may even remind you of Justin Bieber’s “Let Me Love You.” The full version releases March 6, 2017, so be sure to check back on Urban Asian for the full song! Machine is directed by Abbas-Mustan, written by Sanjeev Kaul, with Dilshad V.A. as director of photography. It is slated to release on 17th March 2017.
