The extremely talented Ssudeep Sahir has nailed it once again. after delivering an intense performance in Dream Girl, the actor is back with an award winning role in Alchemy Films’ Woh Apna Sa.
When asked what led him to pick such an intense character he said,
“For me, the most important thing was the story which is from a very different point of view. I have worked with Siddharth Malhotra earlier in Ayushmaan so knew he has a great vision and is an awesome producer. Another reason is that Zee TV is one of the best networks to work with. I have had a great association with Zee TV earlier when I did Jabb Love Hua. And lastly, it is the writing team. Raghuvir Shekhawat is a brilliant writer and it’s a joy to work with him.”
Talking about the challenges he has playing his character Ssudeep says,
“Playing Aditya is challenging, because there is a very thin line between doing it wrong or right. So, every day it becomes a challenge playing him. He’s loves his family to bits but has a miserable personal life Still, in spite of the personal turbulence in his life, he makes sure that his family stays unaffected by it. There are a lot of layers to Aditya’s character which makes it interesting for me to play the part.”
Ssudeep also says he can relate to his character on the show,
“Aditya loves his family. For him family is everything and I believe the same. Sadly, he’s got a wicked wife whereas I am blessed to have a wonderful life partner. So, I do relate to the guy where the family is involved but when it comes to matters of his wife — those are completely un-relatable, shocking and wicked.”
A lucky guy, Ssudeep gets to perform alongside two beautiful actresses Disha Parmar and Riddhi Dogra. He says,
“It’s lovely working with them. Both Ridhi and Disha are such natural performers. They are doing an awesome job, and when you have a good actor opposite you the scene just goes to a different level lucky to have such amazing co-stars.”
