After the successful launch of the unique poster, the makers of the film Mantra have launched their trailer today in the presence of the cast Kalki Koechlin, Rajat Kapoor, Shiv Pandit and the debutant director Nicholas Kharkongor. The intriguing trailer has caught the eye, as it shows many layers of a person and how his family functions.
Mantra revolves around the forces of globalization sweep through the post-liberalization New India, one man desperately attempts to save his once-iconic snacks brand from being wiped out by a multinational giant.
Nicholas Kharkongor has worked extensively in theatre and film for 20 years. His plays have been performed in India and abroad, including in London and New York. In film, he assisted one of India’s foremost indie filmmakers, Rajat Kapoor. Mantra is his debut film.
Mantra has won best feature film in SAIFF, New York and was an official selection in IFFI and MAMI last year. The film is all set to hit silver screens on March 17, 2017.
