"My passion brought me to Bollywood!" – Arsh Bajwa

Arsh Bajwa who hails from a rice and wheat farming family in a small town in the Punjab made his debut in writer-director Amit Roy’s film alongside Amit Sadh and Taapsee Pannu.


Bajwa shares it wasn’t easy for him to land up with one of lead casting in the movie Running Shaadi.

“It was all my passion that bought me here. I gave an audition for the movie in Chandigarh, after I got sort listed and photoshoots were held in sardar look. Amit Roy our director he rejected my two shoots and confirmed the third one. Then I was called to Mumbai for 15 days workshop that time I was personally introduced to Our producer, Director and lead actors Amit and Taapsee. I was then at cloud nine,”

Actor adds in a statement.

Talking ahead about preparing himself for the role. He shares,

“For getting prepared for the role I went on growing my hair and beard long. As in didn’t trim or shave for 3 months. I had also put on my weight. And most wierd but yes I didn’t took bath for 30 days. Say once in a 45 days of shooting schedule. So today, I can see my dedication has changed my life. I and my character in the film has been appreciated by all.”
